My first major work as a Resident Cartographer with Interactive Airport Intelligence, LLC, this map highlights gate, ticketing, baggage claim, security, and retail locations within the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Along with the Airport Dashboard that the company offers, this map will inform staffing decisions by providing business intelligence to airport management.

My major project in Summer 2026 was a complete redesign of the Middlebury Area Land Trust (MALT) conserved lands map. This introduced new and more accurate conservation classifications, provides context on location in Addison County along with insets, and informs conservation decision-making by highlighting the locations of existing trails and Middlebury College Land.

As part of my internship with MALT, I was tasked with updating the Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) map, including differentiating between road classes, introducing the North Country National Scenic Trail, removing unnecessary text and symbology, recoloring properties to adequately represent conservation classifications, calculating distances, and fixing geometry inaccuracies.

Another map for a local client, this map of Libby's Trail features on a kiosk at the entrances to this path connecting Eastview Senior Living and Porter Medical Center. I collected the data using GPS before finalizing the cartography. I also uploaded the trail to OpenStreetMap.

My first client-based work, this map was made for the Addison Independent and the Addison County Relocalization Network (ACORN). It is part of the 2026 version of their annual ACORN Food and Farm Guide, which releases each May. The heatmap shows the prevalence of local farmstands across the area, creating visible clusters in the towns of Middlebury, Bristol, and Charlotte.

Made for a Winter Term cartography workshop, I wanted to try my hand at a hexagonal heatmap taking point data and showing clusters. I decided to highlight prevalent hotspots of earthquakes in Iceland, comparing their geography with the tectonic plate boundary illustrated by the dotted line.

This map displays existing public transport networks in Cape Town, South Africa, taking inspiration from the infamous New York City subway map. It shows the municipal-led Integrated Rapid Transit (IRT) bus system, rail lines, and informal taxi networks, showing who is served by the municipality and who is served by informal parties, and the inequality and inefficiency of this organization.
